
The Falcon Student Success Program (FSSP)
What We Do
The Falcon Student Success Program (FSSP) is a student-centered
program providing comprehensive and specialized support designed to provide guidance
and resources to ensure a successful college transition and help students:
• Stay on track academically and get connected to resources
• Be engaged on campus to enhance the student experience
• Persist and achieve their educational goals and program completion
We focus on supporting student success, removing barriers and empowering students
to thrive academically, personally, and professionally.
Who We Serve
The Falcon Student Success Program supports all A.A. and A.S students, with specialized
support and services for students who may benefit from additional guidance, including:
• First-Generation College Students
• Students Experiencing Homelessness
• Current and Former Foster Youth
Our team understands the unique challenges students may face and works collaboratively
with college and community resources to provide personalized support.
- Provide students with continuous support through AA or AAS degree program completion
- Encourage academic excellence and provide dedicated guidance to assist with retention
- Enhance campus collaborations and student campus life experiences
- Encourage and support mentorship through campus and peer relationships
- New student advising sessions
- Academic support services through academic advising and academic monitoring
- Regular communication regarding campus activities, critical deadlines, scholarship opportunities
- Events, activities, and workshops that support student engagement and student success
- Referrals to college and community resources
- Personal and professional development opportunities
