Take the next step with confidence. The College’s IET program helps students strengthen academic skills through an Academic Skills Building (ASB) class while preparing for a workforce credential. Students can choose from two career-focused pathways: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) and National Certified Medical Office Assistant (NCMOA).

State Vision
The Florida Department of Education supports adult education programs that create career pathways and help students transition to postsecondary education. The goal is to increase the number of adult education students who continue their education and earn a degree, certificate, or industry credential.
Pathway Options
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Focuses on digital productivity, workplace communication, and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- National Certified Medical Office Assistant (NCMOA): Focuses on medical office support, administrative procedures, communication, organization, and healthcare office readiness.
Eligibility
Students must be co-enrolled in an Academic Skills Building (ASB) class and an approved IET pathway.
- CASAS Reading GOALS 2 score at NRS Level 5 or 6
- Eligible for co-enrollment in an Academic Skills Building (ASB) class and either the MOS or NCMOA pathway
