Career/Professional honors: Have been named to Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers five times, 

Outside interests: NFL Football, Movies

What did you do prior to joining Daytona State College?  I taught in a business school, did private tutoring and taught public speaking and Freshman English at Embry-Riddle University for three years. 

What has been the most rewarding thing about your Daytona State College experience? My interaction with the students.  

What is one goal you still hope to achieve in your career? I hope to complete 25 years of teaching at Daytona State College.  I have three years to go. 

In life? The same.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?  My father told me always to believe in myself. 

One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: I have lived all over the United States.  I also have acted in and/or directed over 70 plays. 

Last book read:Somebody: The Reckless Life and Remarkable Career of Marlon Brando by Stefan Kanfer.

If they could bottle your personality what would the label read? Friendly, Kind, Considerate 

If you could have a dinner party and invite any four people, dead or alive, the guest list would be: James Gandolfini, Marlon Brando, Mickey Mantle, Victor Borge.

 The Daytona State of Mind to me is characterized by tolerance, compassion and industriousness.
