What did you do prior to joining Daytona State College? I was assistant men’s basketball coach at Alabama State University
What professional projects are you working on right now? I am developing a non-profit organization that focuses on aiding the education of elementary through high school children through mentoring, tutoring and sports.
What has been the most rewarding thing about your Daytona State College experience? Watching athletes give their time and efforts to community service in the Daytona Beach area, while excelling in academics and sports.
What is one goal you still hope to achieve in your career? To help the Daytona State College Women’s Basketball win a NJCAA Academic Championship
In life? Retire in Daytona Beach with my family and serve youth in the Daytona Beach metro area.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten? If you don’t have anything good to say about someone don’t say anything at all.
One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: I am legally blind.
