*** TERMS OF AGREEMENT: The Student Presenter must be a high school or undergraduate student at the time of the ShORE event. A Student Presenter is allowed to be the the primary presenter in only one of the presentation categories. Only the primary author of a research project is allowed to be present during judging.
All students attending the ShORE 2019 event must register whether participating or not. If you are registering as a Presenter or Group Member(see below), please type everything exactly as you want it to be included in the program guide. For example, if your last name is "Mcdonald" put the capital letters where you want them in the program book, "McDonald" vs. "Mcdonald," etc. Triple-check your spelling. You will also need your Research Mentor’s exact name and title. Also, be prepared to submit your project title and abstract.
Note: If there is more than one name associated with your presentation or poster, the first person to be listed will be defined as the Presenter and all others will be defined as Group Members. Please remind all group members to register individually.
All submissions will be judged in one of two submission categories--Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation.
Presenters are students who will be presenting their research findings or proposal via oral presentation or poster; Group Members are students who worked with the Presenter on the research project (all students listed on a poster are encouraged to be present for and participate in the poster session). Observers are students who want to attend ShORE 2019 in support of their peers.
Please note that your application is not complete until you have submitted your Project Abstract via email to ShORE@DaytonaState.edu. When submitting, please place your name and "Project Abstract" in the subject line (e.g., Smith, Jeff - Project Abstract).
