Distance Education @ DSC
Online education was first introduced at Daytona State College in 1998. Today, nearly 300 online courses are offered by just about every College and School at DSC. Students can earn their degree totally online or take just a few online classes. The online courses at DSC offer the same high quality that students would find in face-to-face courses. Faculty will find a plethora of information in this website about Online Studies at DSC. I encourage you to explore what we have to offer.

New to Teaching Online?
Developing a quality course takes time especially for a distance education course. To ensure adherence to the College's commitment to excellence certain delivery standards and completion of Falcon Online training are expected for faculty teaching online and hybrid courses. In addition, all distance learning courses require approval from the department chair.
All faculty at Daytona State College are required to complete training through the Division of Online Studies. Depending on the modality you teach, you'll have different training requirements. Please view the document linked below to review the required workshops and contact your chair or the director for the Division of Online Studies if you have questions.
