(March 4, 2020) – More than 40 local businesses will be in attendance on Wednesday, April 15 when Daytona State College hosts its Spring Job Fair on the Daytona Beach Campus (1200 West International Speedway Blvd.). Admission is free and open to all members of the community. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lemerand Center (College Gym), Building 310.

Among businesses scheduled to attend are AdventHealth, U.S. Foods, SMA Healthcare, Massey Services, Inc., the Daytona Beach Police Department, YMCA Camp Winona, Paylocity, Orlando Health, and the United States Navy Reserve. Participating companies are subject to change.

“This is our biggest job fair of the year and we look forward to helping students connect with great opportunities,” said LaTonya Polk, Manager of Daytona State’s Career Services Department.

Current DSC students and alumni are welcome to visit the College’s Career Services prior to the job fair for assistance with resumé and cover letter writing, interview preparation and other free services. The Career Services Department is located in the L. Gale Lemerand Student Center, Room 224, on the Daytona Beach Campus.

Those attending the job fair should dress professionally, bring copies of their resumé, and be prepared to speak directly to hiring managers and recruiters.
