Natalie Diienno earned her MFA in Visual Studies from the University at Buffalo and
her BFA in Creative Photography from the University of Florida. With close to a decade
of experience in the photographic field, her expertise spans a diverse range of roles,
including fine art photography, digital content management, retouching and production,
art management, archiving, photo restoration, web design, curation, and nonprofit
work.
Natalie's skill as an educator shines through her eight years of teaching experience
in higher education. She imparts knowledge across a wide spectrum of media courses,
encompassing digital photography and video hardware and software, visual literacy,
design, HTML, analogue photography, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Her pedagogical
approach seamlessly blends concept and technique, allowing exploration of photography's
rich tradition while delving into our contemporary relationship with visual imagery.
As a seasoned artist, Natalie's work often encapsulates a unique dichotomy, reflecting
a personal history shared with an identical twin sister. This bisectional artistic
approach delves into concepts of balance, introspection, and the infinite. Her ongoing
collection, "In Search of the Miraculous," aims to encapsulate these elements, evoking
boundless horizons of sky and sea.
Natalie's artwork has earned national recognition through exhibitions, and her passion
for photography is evident in her commitment to teaching and creating. Her journey
into photography ignited a lifelong devotion to discovering, exploring, and disseminating
ideas through this expressive medium.
