The Daytona State Aquatic Center offers Swim Lessons for both children and adults. Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis. Pre-registration is required. Times subject to change based upon demand (Please note: to meet the needs of the community we offer a additional classes during the summer months). Daytona State's Learn to Swim Red Cross swim classes are available for infants, children, teens, and adults. All of our swim instructors at Daytona State are Certified in Water Safety Instruction by the American Red Cross. You will receive safe instruction from a trained, professional instructor, who can help even the most timid of swimmers learn to enjoy the water. Every beginner class starts with the basics, like becoming comfortable in the water and learning safety and basic strokes, then moves on to stroke development, refinement and improvement, then developing ease and efficiency in the water.
If desired time frame is not available for your child's age group, or if you would like more information regarding our swim lesson program, please contact the Aquatic Center at 386-506-4386.
