On Golden Pond is the inspiring story of Ethel and Norman Thayer returning to their summer cottage in Maine during their twilight years. The play’s storyline features the triumph of love over discord. When their estranged daughter Chelsea brings her fiancé and his teenaged son Billy Ray Jr. to visit, a chance for redemption emerges between Chelsea and her parents. When the boy is left with the older couple, Norman finds new purpose in the simple task of teaching young Billy Ray to fish. It turns out to be just what they both needed. Will this be the Thayers’ last summer On Golden Pond?
