Falcon Follies - A Night of Improv

Falcon Follies is a fast‑paced college improv show where anything can happen—and usually does. Our fearless performers create on‑the‑spot scenes, outrageous characters, and big laughs with no script and no safety net.

We Hold These Truths
Presented by Bel Canto Singers of Daytona
Saturday, May 2 at 4:00 p.m.
Join us for a celebration of our country's 250th birthday, featuring the world premiere of 'Let Freedom Ring', a newly commissioned piece by Dr. David Brunner. This concert includes songs of early Americana, revolutionary hymns, and memorial songs--such as Barber’s Agnus Dei--plus special performances by guest choirs from Spruce Creek High School and Daytona State College.
Students may attend the concert for just $10.
This inspirational program highlights the struggles of past generations and challenges us to continue striving toward the ideals set forth in the Declaration of Independence.

Volusia County National Day of Prayer
Thursday, May 7, 2026 - Main Event at 7:00 p.m.
On Thursday, May 7th, we will come together at the News-Journal Center, 221 N Beach St. Daytona Beach, FL 32114, for a night of unified prayer. This community-wide event invites people of all faiths to unite in prayer, lifting up our nation, leaders, and communities. Together, we will strengthen our faith and prepare for the National Day of Prayer. Let’s come together in one spirit and make these 21 days a time of worship and prayer as one church in Volusia! There is a Celebration of Unity that begins at 5:30 PM.
The NDP Main Event will start promptly at 7:00 PM.

Spanning a mile of Intracoastal waterway, the Riverfront Esplanade is a premier gathering
space and botanical garden in the heart of Daytona Beach, Florida.
Composed of more than a mile of waterfront running trail with comfortable benches and swings overlooking the Halifax River, the Riverfront Esplanade also features a dog park with an agility course and a state of the art splash pad.
