NEXT MEETING All B.A.S. students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Hi All: Mark your calendars! The BAS Club is planning a Christmas Social for Saturday, December 12, (evening time-TBD) at LuLu's Oceanside Grill, 30 S. Atlantic Ave., Ormond Beach, FL 32176 (386) 673-2641. They have a patio, musical entertainment, and great food. We thought it would be great if all of our faculty/staff were invited so that students could meet everyone (since many of them never come to campus). The November Fundraiser for the BAS Club members participation is this year's "Basket Brigade". Students can bring food and laundry baskets to the next meeting. More information can be obtained at http://basketbrigadeflorida.com Dr. Gartlan 386-506-3709 ALSO, this is a great time to join the BAS Club for $10 and start borrowing your books by paying a rental fee of $25 for each book to our Daytona State College BAS book loaner project. Come and network - find out about this group! If you cannot attend, membership forms are available in the BAS office Room 400, Bldg 150 where your $10 fee can also be paid so you are ready to roll with your next semester courses! Membership forms are also linked on this page. Textbooks cost over $2500 for the BAS program, but with this opportunity, you can get the use of textbooks for the whole program for under $400.!! |
|
You may complete the membership form and submit it with your one-time $10.00 membership fee to Cindy Somers in the BAS office. Room 400, Building 150. |
