Enrollment Day

Quanta, an Honors Learning Community Workshop
QUANTA is a Freshman Experience program for the Associate of Arts transfer degree seeking student. Integrated into one exciting learning experience, QUANTA students register for three courses that meet from 9:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Attend this informative workshop to learn more about QUANTA and how to earn a ten percent tuition refund.

1-Year Certificate Programs
More than 50 programs, ranging from 8 weeks to a year to complete

Certificate programs provide specialized training in various fields in one year or less. Certificates (college credit) and applied technology diploma programs can be applied toward an associate of science (AS) degree.

The State College Guarantee
The Associate of Arts (AA) is a two-year program for students who wish to pursue a four-year degree at Daytona State or another college or university. When you earn an AA degree at Daytona State College, you are guaranteed admission as a junior to Florida public universities.

Associate of Science
The Associate of Science (AS) is a two-year program that prepares you for careers which require specialized college-level training. More than 94 percent of our AS degree graduates work in their chosen field. Graduates are prepared for immediate entry into occupations or for transfer into our BAS, BSET, BSIT or BSN programs.

2+2 = Associate and Bachelor’s Degrees at Daytona State College
Earn your associate degree from Daytona State College and apply for admission to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management program, the Bachelor of Science in Education program, or the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology program.
