Project Management Certification Boot Camp
The Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College, in partnership with Top Certifications Training, will offer a four-day boot camp to attain one of the most sought after and internationally recognized certifications. Demand for project management expertise in organizations continues to grow, and the Project Management Certification Boot Camp is a great way to build the skills needed to keep projects on task, on time and on budget. In this highly interactive curriculum, our core team brings nearly 100 years of comprehensive, public and private sector project management experience in applied best practices and lessons learned. Participants will earn a Daytona State College Certificate of Completion and receive assistance with the exam application process. Instructors help instill the test-taking mindset needed to pass the exam on the first try. Cost for the boot camp is $1,499 per participant and includes the Project Management Exam Success Study System: Project Management Body of Knowledge 4th Edition, boot camp manual and exam simulation booklet (1,060 questions), exam simulation application (26 tests with 3,000 questions), three laminated posters (Processes/Mind Maps/ITTO Tables ), 436 flashcards (terminology, processes, formulas), three audio CDs (study strategies/terms & definitions/processes), and three exam reference guides.

Access 2007, Advanced
Presented by the Center for Business and Industry at Daytona State College, this one-day course builds on the skills and concepts taught in Access 2007: Intermediate. Students will learn how to query with SQL; create crosstab, parameter, and action queries; create macros; import, export, and link database objects; work with XML documents; work with Windows SharePoint Services; optimize databases; password-protect and encrypt databases; set Access options and properties; create hyperlink fields; and use Outlook 2007 to update data. The course fee is $85 and includes a student workbook with a CD-ROM containing the lab files used in class. The deadline to register for each course is one week prior to the course date.
