Season Outlook
The 2012 Falcon baseball team will mark the eleventh season with Tim Touma as Head Baseball Coach. In the ten years with Tim Touma at the helm, Falcon baseball has won four conference championships and four baseball National Academic Awards with the highest team G.P.A. in the Nation.
Pitching coach/recruiting coordinator Chris Reilly returns to the staff along with Devo head coach Nick Luppino. The new addition to the staff is Kyle Dahl, a former Falcon All-Star. Coach Dahl will be in charge of the catchers along with assisting with the Devo program.
The Falcons will start the fall season with four returning pitchers and just two returning starters on the Diamond.
Freshman All – Conference outfielder Scooter Price, who lead all Falcon hitters with eight homeruns.
On the mound, starter Brad Gero returns with relief ace Ben Burns anchoring the bullpen for the Falcon hurlers.
The goals for the 2012 squad will be to win the National Academic Award after finishing second in 2011 and make a return trip to the state tournament!
