Performances are free to Daytona State College students, Faculty and Staff!

Dance
If you are interested in gaining performance experience, you may audition for the College Dance Theatre. The company is a primarily modern based group that also performs jazz and ballet. The Dance Theatre produces one concert each semester on campus plus community presentations. The curriculum of study in dance focuses on technique and theory.

Music
Whether you are looking to major in music or simply want to take part in a fulfilling elective, this program has quality courses and experienced faculty to help you achieve your goals. A wide-ranging curriculum includes music theory, music appreciation and applied music lessons on most instruments and voice.
Call for Ensemble Community Members:
The Mike Curb College of Music, Entertainment and Art at Daytona State College is seeking community membership in its instrumental ensembles for the 2022-23 academic season. The specific ensembles are the Symphonic Band, Civic Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble. Musician/members should be able to play their instrument at the high school level or higher and be able to read music. The Symphonic Band will begin rehearsing on Monday August 29 at 7:00pm, the Civic Orchestra on Tuesday August 30 at 7:00pm and the Jazz Ensemble on Wednesday August 31 at 7:00pm. All rehearsals will be held on the main campus of Daytona State College in Building 230, Room 103. If interested please attend the first day of rehearsal. Explore your creative side within our studio arts department. We offer Drawing, Painting, Design and Ceramic classes in our spacious, well-equipped studios. Art scholarships available along with scholarships for Veterans and their dependents.
