Degrees and schools where awarded: A.S. Computer Programming & Analysis, Computer Programming Certificate, Information Technology Administration Certificate, all with high honors from Daytona State College. Currently pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
Career/Professional honors: I participated in LDI I.
Outside interests: My wonderful wife, Tami, and our beautiful daughter, Chloe; audiobooks; MMA; soccer; American football; basketball; cinema; listening to music and playing the guitar.
What did you do prior to joining Daytona State College? Before I came to the United States, I ran my own IT service company in Germany. In the US, I basically started from zero. I did commercial lawn care and cleaning, as well as painting boat bottoms at St. Augustine Marine Center.
What professional projects are you working on right now? SharePoint Development, Office 365 implementation, software catalog, Adobe ETLA packaging, XCITE, and all things ERP.
What has been the most rewarding thing about your Daytona State College experience? I’m happy to work with a great team, networking and building new friendships.
What is one goal you still hope to achieve in your career? To be a computer programming professor.
In life? To be sure that I do my best being a father and a husband!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten? Don’t expect anything from others and you won’t be disappointed.
One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: I almost became a professional soccer player, but an injury ended my career. Also, I am now officially an American citizen.
