- DSC employee since January 2012, but technically I’ve been with the college as a student worker and Tri-State worker since June 2008.
Degrees and schools where awarded: Associate of Arts, Daytona State College; Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management to be completed spring 2014.
Career/Professional honors: I’ve been able to work on numerous projects with the IT Department ranging from printer recoveries to the Classroom of the Future, which my colleagues and I were featured in an issue of EdTech magazine.
Outside interests: Spending time with family, traveling, watching movies, Madden guru, learning about parenting, music.
What did you do prior to joining Daytona State College? Initially, I went to Hampton University to become a pilot. I became quite homesick, so I decided to move back to be closer to my girlfriend (now wife), and here we are. I was a dietary aid at Countryside Lakes Assisted Living Facility (Port Orange), and an auto detailer before joining the DSC family.
What professional projects are you working on right now? Dell Data Encryption, Learning SCCM 2012
What has been the most rewarding thing about your Daytona State College experience? All of the knowledge gained. It was cool to start as a student and work my way up to a career employee.
What is one goal you still hope to achieve in your career? Win an Oscar.
In life? Live a life that I and my family can be proud of.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten? Dream bigger.
One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: Music is one of my passions, and I have been working on a musical project for six years.

If they could bottle your personality what would the label read? Tough shell, but sweet inside.
Who are the four people in the history of the world you most admire? Maya Angelou, Malcolm X, Kanye West, Spike Lee.
The Daytona State of Mind to me means always giving back and staying committed to helping individuals in the local community.
