Outside interests: Fishing, motorcycles, guitars.
What did you do prior to joining Daytona State College? I worked as a senior staff training specialist for Lockheed Martin.
What professional projects are you working on right now? I’m designing training and development opportunities for various groups at the college.
What has been the most rewarding thing about your Daytona State College experience? The opportunity to work with such a talented and diverse group of colleagues.
What is one goal you still hope to achieve in your career? To implement an internship program pairing the career aspirations of high school juniors and seniors with community employers.
In life? To help my children live happy and productive lives.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten? Cross at the green, not in between.
One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: I play guitar and have a small studio at my house.
Last book read: “Shackleton's Way: Leadership Lessons from the Great Antarctic Explorer” by Margot Morrell and Stephanie Capparell.
If they could bottle your personality what would the label read? Sweet and sour; best when chilled.
Who are the four people in the history of the world you most admire? Leonardo Da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Michelangelo and Harry Potter.
The Daytona State of Mind to me means providing the ways and means for everyone at the college to surpass their own expectations.
