What did you do prior to joining Daytona State College? After graduating in 2006, I moved to Daytona Beach and began working at Salty Dog Surf Shop as a transitional job until I was hired as a student services advisor in the DSC Admissions Office.  I enjoy working with people and always make efforts to involve myself in extra-curricular events.

What professional projects are you working on right now? Currently completing Level III of LDI (Leadership Development Institute) GREAT PROGRAM- Highly recommended!

What has been the most rewarding thing about your Daytona State College experience? The relationships I have formed with my fellow colleagues. I love my job and I genuinely believe in what I do each and every day to help our students succeed. My role comes easy to me as I am surrounded by great people who make my job enjoyable. I have truly learned from the BEST! I have great mentors and leaders who have guided me to success both on campus and throughout life.

What is one goal you still hope to achieve in your career? To continue to explore new areas of the college so I can become an expert on what we provide as a valued educational institution.

In life? I plan to pursue my master’s degree in higher education in the very near future.

One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: I am a Baltimore Ravens Fan! You know, the current Super Bowl Champions.

Last book read: “The Laws of Leadership” by  John Maxwell

If they could bottle your personality what would the label read? One of a Kind. The back would read WARNING: Every Bottle contains unique ingredients that cannot be replicated or recreated.

If you could have a dinner party and invite any four people, dead or alive, the guest list would be: My wife, my two brothers and the late, great Albert Einstein, for sure.  I feel that Albert and I think alike, outside the box. I would definitely want to share this well-prepared meal by my wife with the most valued people in my life.

The Daytona State of Mind to me is creating a goal and developing a plan of action to guarantee success through a quality education!
