Computer Skills Testing for Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Charting
Presented by Daytona State's Institute for Health Services - Continuing Education for Health Occupations. Cost: $30.
In a computer lab, with the directions of your instructor, demonstrate your skills of Microsoft Windows operating system and basic computer file management, which is the foundation that EMR programs are built on. Successful completion of test will show employer that you are ready for their specific EMR training on the job.

IV Therapy Certification 
Presented by Daytona State's Institute for Health Services - Continuing Education for Health Occupations. Cost: $325 includes $80 skills kit.
This 38-hour weekend course teaches IV skills or is a refresher certification course. Covers IV insertion, management of fluids, pump usage, calculations for meds, administrating blood and care of central lines. Includes IV start kits, fluids, dressing change kits, etc.
