Our innovative and accessible programs are designed to support the individual interests of the participants. We target a mature audience, in pursuit of exploring and learning for the joy of it, and interested in keeping in touch with the world! Learn how to send email messages, including file and photo attachments, receive and respond to emails with reply/reply all and forward, identify phishing tactics, and how to organize and search for emails. Cost: $55.

Presented by the Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College, this course provides you with a foundation for Excel knowledge and skills. You will learn how to perform calculations, modify a worksheet, format a worksheet, print and manage workbooks. Cost: $145, deadline to register for is one week prior to the course date.

Learn Apple iPhone, Apple iPad & Apple TV
If you have a passion for learning, the lifestyle programming offered by the Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College opens the gateway to infinite opportunities and experiences. Our innovative and accessible programs are designed to support the individual interests of the participants. We target a mature audience, in pursuit of exploring and learning for the joy of it, and interested in keeping in touch with the world! Learn how to navigate your iPhone/iPad with tips, tricks and shortcuts. Try out some new free productivity apps like Office Lens. Setup Find My Phone in case your iPhone is lost or stolen you can track its location. You also will get to setup and try Apple TV; check out how to access movies and TV shows on apps like Netflix, share photos from your phone on your big screen TV with AirPlay and more. Cost: $55.

Do I need a virus protector on my Apple Macintosh Computer? If so, which one? What settings do I make on my iPhone, iPad and Mac to keep my information private? How can I stay safe online? Top Tips: Make your iPad and iPhone Work for You
If you have a passion for learning, the lifestyle programming offered by the Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College opens the gateway to infinite opportunities and experiences. Our innovative and accessible programs are designed to support the individual interests of the participants. We target a mature audience, in pursuit of exploring and learning for the joy of it, and interested in keeping in touch with the world! In this three-day class, you will discover 75 tips and tricks to help you use your Apple devices. Customize your iPhone and/or iPad so it works best for you. Begin by learning to use all the settings and application choices. Then see and try some very useful tips. Also, take a look at password management software. Bring your iPhone or iPad to class. This class is not for Android users. Cost: $55.

The Emerging Leader Series
Presented by the Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College, the instructor for this course is Debbie Featherston who brings over 20 years of experience helping organizations design, implement and manage people development solutions. As a performance consultant and executive coach, Featherston helps organizations build strong leaders, engage and retain high performers, and manage change initiatives. Topics include: The Leader's Role in Shaping and Modeling Organizational Culture, Leadership is a Conversation, Communicating from the Top – Keys to Effective Communication, Selecting and Retaining Top Talent, Coaching and Developing for High Performance, Understanding and Applying Emotional Intelligence, Leading Organizational Change, Successful Strategic Planning, and The Ethical Leader. Office 365 Experience Workshop
Presented by the Florida Lifestyle Institute, this open lab provides an opportunity for guests to drop in and stay as long as they like. While in the lab, guests will be invited to join a live Office 365 environment and explore the various features of Office 365 both on their personal device and on desktop computers. A Certified Microsoft Trainer will guide participants through their experience and provide help along the way.
