WDSC's Community Calendar airs at various times each day featuring events and activities throughout the Central Florida region. We welcome all non-profit organization requests for possible inclusion in our Community Calendar. Send the information via email or mail on the organization letterhead at least one month prior to the event. Remember to include who, what, when, where, a brief description of the event and phone numbers viewers can call for more information.
- Media contact name, phone number and email address.
- Copy of your organization's 501C3 status.
Your non-profit event must take place in the Central Florida region and be of relevance to our local audience in order for consideration. Events not fitting station parameters will not be considered.
Due to the volume of requests we cannot guarantee that an event will be placed on the Community Calendar. Calendar slots are filled on a first come, first serve basis, and on the above mentioned factors. We would sincerely like to include every request, but we may not have the air space to do so. We have limited breaks between programming.
