Outside interests: Publishing, riding jet skies with my daughters, and standard poodles.
What did you do prior to joining Daytona State College? I worked in retail and in loss prevention. I was a recruiter, loss prevention manager and a store manager for several major retail outlets.
What professional projects are you working on right now? I am a doctorate candidate mentor. I work with graduate students in the dissertation and defense phase.
What has been the most rewarding thing about your Daytona State College experience? Personal as well as educational growth.
What is one goal you still hope to achieve in your career? I plan to take the CPA and CFE exam soon.
In life? To be the best father possible to my kids.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten? “When we judge or criticize another person, it says nothing about that person; it merely says something about our own need to be critical.” (Richard Carlson)
One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: I have raised an award-winning 100-pound standard poodle.

Who are the four people in the history of the world you most admire? Jesus and my daughters Sina Bobbie and Chauncey.
