Degrees and schools where awarded: Associate degree in business administration from Central City Business Institute and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baker College, Michigan. Currently working on MBA from Baker College.
Career/Professional honors: Employee of the Month, Quarter and Year for the Combined Bachelor Quarters for the Department of the Navy; Employee of the Month for Sallie Mae; Volunteer of the Year for Sallie Mae; and Customer Service Award from Eastern Michigan University.
Outside interests: Church, enjoying the outdoors, friends and family.
What did you do prior to joining Daytona State College? I worked for Sallie Mae.
What professional projects are you working on right now? I am currently in LDI 1, serve on the Alumni & Friends Board and am working on my MBA in Marketing.
What has been the most rewarding thing about your Daytona State College experience? Helping other students so they can be successful in their careers.
What is one goal you still hope to achieve in your career? To obtain my MBA.
In life? To take a cruise.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten? Take one day at a time and never give up.
One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: I have been on a submarine.
