Career/professional honors: 2000-2001 honorable mentions in Instructional Support and Encouragement award.
Outside Interests: Gardening, fishing, beachcombing and making jewelry.
What did you do prior to joining DSC? I really can’t remember that far back. It seems as if I’ve worked here forever.
What professional projects are you working on right now? I would like to take some painting and drawing classes.
What has been the most rewarding thing about your Daytona State College experience? Helping students with admissions throughout their semesters at DSC, and finally seeing how happy and proud they are when they graduate.
What is one goal you still hope to achieve in your career? Retirement.
In life? To be self-supporting and to get my business off the ground so that I can supplement my retirement.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten? My mother always told me, “You get a lot more flies with honey than vinegar.”
One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: I saw Elvis Presley in concert.

If they could bottle your personality, what would the label read? Open with extreme caution. (My astrological sign is Cancer and I am extremely moody.)
Who are the four people in the history of the world you most admire? My mother Marjorie, my father Leonard, my sister Judy and my dear friend Pat.
The Daytona State of Mind to me means helping people become more confident, independent and successful.
