Welcome to Daytona State College EMS! We offer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic courses every semester.
**If you are an active duty member of the United States Armed Forces or a member of
the reserves and are considering applying to Daytona State College EMS, please use
this email link to request more information, please attach a copy of your military
ID. (Active Duty Service Member Email) Active duty personnel receive some application exemptions and are granted priority
enrollment into EMT or Paramedic courses.
**If you are a veteran of the United States Armed Forces with a DD-214 showing an honorable discharge please attach a copy of your DD-214 and email us using this link (Veteran Email)

STEP ONE TO APPLY FOR ALL FALL EMS CLASSES: You must be a high school graduate or have a GED prior to applying for EMT classes. If you are applying for Paramedic classes, you must have completed an EMT class within the state of Florida prior to applying. You may download part one of the application here.
Fall 2017 EMT DAY classes are currently FULL.Night class still has limited openings. We will continue to take applications for a wait list.
SUMMER 2017 EMT CLASSES ARE FULL! WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SUMMER!
**The application deadline to submit Part 1 of the application for Fall 2017 classes is June 9th OR until classes are full, which ever comes first. Updated information on seats remaining for each class will be posted on the EMT or Paramedic home page. You can get this information by clicking on the picture of the patch.

The Daytona State College EMS Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP)
