Criminal Justice Technology Bridge - A.S. Degree
Daytona State College’s School of Emergency Services offers the Criminal Justice Technology Bridge A.S. degree to those who have completed the Florida Law Enforcement Recruit Training academy or the Correctional Officer Recruit Training academy and passed the State Officer Certification Examination (SOCE). It is the perfect choice for law enforcement or correctional officers who wish to obtain a degree but are required to work varying schedules.
This is a two-year, non-transferable degree. If your goal is to transfer to a four-year school, inquire with a campus advisor as to the requirements for an A.A. Degree.
The Criminal Justice Technology Bridge A.S. degree features:
- Seven-week classes (six-week classes during the summer semester).
- Twenty-four vocational credits earned from your academy training are applied to this degree. You can earn your degree in as little as one year.
- Courses are offered in class or online, with the exception of SPC2608, Oral Communication, which is available in class only.
- Credits earned can be applied toward Daytona State College’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management.
