Our Support Staff
The Southeast Center for Photographic Studies boasts of having current and excellent in its many labs, and thanks to the staff darkroom, studio lights and computer labs are expertly maintained.
Kevin Donlin - Data Communications Specialist
Kevin Donlin manages and maintains all the Macintosh computer and software systems in the Photography department. Previous to working at Daytona State College Kevin worked as Studio Technician for 18 years at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. His dedication ensures that our students work in well-maintained state-of-the-art digital labs.
Roger Linke - Mac Lab Technician
Roger Linke, our Mac Lab Technician, earned his Bachelor's degree in photography in 1975 and, soon thereafter, a second Bachelor's and a Master of Fine Arts degree. Leaving his fine arts and commercial prepress careers, he returned to photography, entering our program as a student at the age of fifty. In 2004 Roger began teaching as an adjunct, and in 2007 accepted the position that he now holds. Roger also oversees our Yahoo site and our blog.
Dave Miller - Manager, Photography Department Stockroom
Dave Miller manages the Photography Department’s Stockroom, where students may checkout equipment for daily in-house use as well as rent, borrow or purchase equipment and materials. Dave graduated from the photo program and worked in camera sales until joining the department’s support staff. He’s the staff member that every student gets to know.
Joe Vance - Senior Lab Technician
Joe Vance is the Senior Lab Technician. Joe is in charge of the daily operation and maintenance of the photo studios and wet process labs. He has an associate degree in Electronics as well as an associate degree in Photography from Daytona Beach Community College. Before working with the college, Joe owned and ran a photography studio.
