Enrollment Verification for Adult Education Students (HS/GED)
The DSC Records Office will process enrollment/attendance verifications for Adult Education Students.
Please note: Students must be enrolled 30 days prior to Enrollment Verification Request Forms being submitted to Records Office. Once the 30 days have passed and attendance verified, an Enrollment Verification Certificate can be mailed, faxed, or picked up on-campus within 3 businessdays, after the initial request.
Students with a legitimate need to know, for such things as; employment, Social Security Administration, investigators/felony/probation officers, or DCF officers, auto/health insurance, credit card or other financial services, travel benefits, parental support, rental housing, or various other products and services, are eligible to ask to verify their enrollment information through Daytona State College.
For a student to request Enrollment Verification Certificate:
- Fill out an Enrollment Verification Request Form after completing 30 days of attendance. Please note: if you are not picking up the certificate from one our campus locations, please be sure to write the name and mailing address/fax number of where the certification should be sent to in the space provided at the very bottom of the form.
- Mail, fax, or hand deliver Enrollment Verification Request Form to:

Students need to allow 3 business days for processing.
Students may choose to have their records shared to a parent, or other third party, by adding a delegate through their My.DaytonaState.edu account. Note: when you no longer wish for the parent or third party to have access to your information, you can easily delete the delegate through your account.
For business’s requesting an Enrollment Verification Certificate:
- Businesses will submit Enrollment Verification Requests directly to the DaytonaState Records Office.
Qualification for Full/Half Time:
Full Time is 25 hours for all AE programs (Spring/Fall)
Full Time is 20 hours for all AE programs (Summer)
Part Time is 12 to 20 hours all AE programs (Spring/Fall)
Part Time is 12 to 16 hours all AE programs (Summer)
All AE night programs are 16 hours and considered Part Time.
