A two-day conference on the topic of suicide prevention will be held:

There is no charge for attending the conference; there will be a small fee for those wishing to receive CEU credits.
The conference will be cover general suicide prevention topics and strategies. Our primary target audience is Educators but we will be broadening our focus this year to include other groups. During last year’s conference we had 200 participants representing over 110 different colleges, schools, health care and faith-based organizations. The main focus of our conference will be on practical issues and applied strategies to help prevent suicides especially among young people. It will also provide professional development for college/school counselors, campus safety officers, administrators, faculty members, students, mental health professionals and for faith-based organizatons.
Participants will have the opportunity to be exposed to current and emerging suicide prevention strategies as well as practical applications of those strategies. Experts and campus leaders experienced in suicide prevention will lead the programs and trainings.
