Daytona State and WDSC announces management changes

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (March 3, 2011) - Daytona State College today announced that Robert (Bob) Williams took over management of WDSC-TV after the submission of a resignation letter by Bruce Dunn. Williams, a college employee for 13 years, comes to the station with a wealth of business management experience.

For the past ten years Williams has headed up the College’s Economic Development department and programs. Williams will continue with his duties in Economic Development and will integrate these programs with the business structure of WDSC.

“I’m looking forward to the new opportunities that we can offer by integrating WDSC into our development plan,” commented Williams. “We have a station that reaches millions of people and we need to take advantage of that.”

Dunn’s resignation is effective July 15, 2011. Until that time, Dunn will concentrate his efforts at the station in helping with the transition and with additional fund-raising efforts.
