19DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Sept. 8, 2009) – Presented in conjunction with a guitar master class and concert featuring internationally known guitarist Pat Bergeson and Annie Sellick, the Guitar Tech Expo is an opportunity for stringed instrument enthusiasts to network with custom guitar builders, vintage and rare instrument collectors and instrument repair technicians and instrument retailers. The Expo takes place Saturday, Sept. 19, from noon until 5 p.m., downtown Daytona Beach at the News-Journal Center at Daytona State College.
Bergeson will conduct a master class at 2 p.m. and make a guest appearance with jazz singer, Annie Sellick and her band at 7:30 p.m.
General admission is $20; free to Daytona State College students with a valid I.D. Admission includes Guitar Expo, Master Class and Jazz Concert. Bring a guitar and get $2 off admission. With each purchased ticket receive a $5 coupon for Angell & Phelps Café (good for 30 days after purchase).
Advanced tickets are available and may be purchased in person at the News-Journal Center Box Office at 221 N. Beach Street, Daytona Beach; Box Office hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. Campus box office will be open for walk-up purchases on Sept. 16, Theater Center (bldg. 220), 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach; campus box office hours are 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Wednesday – Friday.
