DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Nov. 17, 2009) - Daytona State College will conduct a Bachelor’s Degree Information Session on Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 5 – 7 p.m., in the Mori Hosseini Center, bldg. 1200, on the Daytona Beach Campus, 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd. The session is free and open to the public.
Daytona State offers fully accredited bachelor’s degrees in two disciplines. Both are designed for students who already have earned an associate’s degree. The Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management provides students with the essential skills needed to assume more responsibilities in their fields. This year, the College also began offering five tracks of the Bachelor of Science in Education degree for those interested in teaching in the K-12 system - Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education, Secondary Biology Education, Secondary Mathematics Education, and Secondary Earth/Space Science Education.
Those attending the Dec. 1 information session will have the opportunity to meet faculty and staff, learn more about the programs, as well as accelerated, flexible and online course schedules, apply for admission and financial aid, and enroll in courses for the Spring 2010 semester, which begins Jan. 19.
