3) Select My Schedule. Select the Grade Roster icon. Your Grade Roster is not always
open. It is open if the Grade Roster icon is available.
You will see several icons on the icon legend (below) on your schedule, but only two
are available for use: Class Roster and Grade Roster. We do not use Gradebook, Assignments,
or Learning Management.
4) Set the Grade Roster Type to Final Grade. Grades can be entered one by one in the
Roster Grade column. The Last Date of Attendance is required for students you assign
a W1 grade.
5) You can assign students that have the same letter grade together by checking the
box next to the student name, then selecting the letter grade from the drop down menu.
Click Add this grade to selected students.
6) After all grades have been entered, change the Grade Roster Action/Approval Status
to Approved. Then select POST at the bottom of the page.
You must select POST or your grades will not be apply to the student record. Save
does not post the grades, but will allow you go come back later if changes need to
Graduation Status Definitions:
Applied – Application was submitted, but it has not been sent to the department chair.
Program In Review – The application has been sent to the department chair for review.
Needs to Finish Pending Work – The department chair has approved the graduation application, but the semester
has not ended. The graduation status will remain, "Needs to Finish Pending Work" until
degrees are conferred at the end of the full semester, even if the student already
finished all requirements before the end of the full semester.
Denied – The department chair denied the student for graduation. All contacts regarding
the denial should be sent to the department.
Degree Awarded – The degree is posted on the transcript. Students will receive their diploma 3-4
weeks after the full semester has ended.
