Recycling
Daytona State has always tried to reduce, re-use, and recycle wherever possible. We have many recycling initiatives on campus already which we plan to grow and develop over time. Some of the items we currently recycle include:-

• Aluminum cans
• Batteries
• Cardboard, paper, styrofoam
  
• Cleaning chemicals and dispensers
• Concrete
• Electronics
• Freon
• Ink/toner cartridges
• Leaves, branches, ground debris
• Light bulbs/Batteries
• Medical/sharps
• Paint, mineral spirits, oil, lubes, sprays
• PC monitors, CPU's

• Scrap metal and aluminum
• Tires from golf carts, college cars and maintenance trucks
• Waste chemicals from academic labs
