RFQ #13-522 (Request for Qualifications)

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, the “Consultants’ Competitive Negotiations Act”, Daytona State College hereby publicly announces it will consider pre-qualified professional firms, registered and licensed to do work in the State of Florida, for a project requiring Architectural and Engineering services.

 

Project Information

Buildings 140 & 150 are joint use facilities with UCF located on our Daytona Beach Campus. Each building has the original AHUs and pneumatic controls on a Johnson N2 System.

The College is soliciting qualifications for professional services to replace all AHUs and controls for both buildings. Services shall include mechanical, electrical, plumbing and any architectural and structural as needed. Each AHU is connected to the Campus CEP and uses a shared gas boiler for reheat. The project scope of design will include (but not limited to) control sequencing, construction documents, bidding documents, construction administration, Test & Balance and possible commissioning. Changing the current N2 control system to BACNET.   The design should also take into consideration any modifications or upgrades to the current AHUs and exhaust systems.

     There is no pre-proposal meeting planned. Any additional information that becomes available and responses to written questions received prior to the deadline of April 1 will be posted on this site. Questions should be submitted to nielseb@DaytonaState.edu

Q: Is it possible to do a site visit prior to the RFQ submittal date?

     A: Site visits will be limited to the short listed firms only.
