Satisfactory Academic Progress Status Codes

  • GOOD: You are in Good standing for the semester.  You are meeting all the financial aid standards of satisfactory academic progress which include the following: You have successfully completed at least 67% of all attempted credits (including all attempted Daytona State credits and all attempted transfer credits); you have earned at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (cum GPA) [Note:  Students in the BS in Education program are required to earn at least a 2.5 cum GPA]; and you have not exceeded 150% of your program length (including all Daytona State College attempted credits and all accepted transfer credits).

  • PRB2: You are on Probation for the semester. You have not successfully completed 67% of all your attempted credits and/or you have not earned at least a 2.0 cum GPA (2.5 cum GPA for students in the BS in Education). Your appeal has been approved, and you have signed an Academic Plan.  You may continue to receive financial aid while on Probation. While on Probation/Academic Plan, you must successfully complete 100% of all courses attempted each semester and earn at least a 2.0 term GPA (2.5 term GPA for students in the BS in Education).  If you are not back in Good standing after the probationary semester, you may be offered a subsequent probationary semester if you have met the terms of the Academic Plan.

  • APPL: You are on an approved Appeal for the semester.  You have exceeded 150% of the program length (including all Daytona State attempted credits and all attempted transfer credits). You have been approved for a specific number of additional credits and courses for your degree or certificate program (as documented in the email approving your appeal), and have signed your Academic Plan.  While on Appeal, you must successfully complete 100% of all courses attempted each semester and earn at least a 2.0 term GPA (2.5 term GPA for students in the BS in Education).

  • AEHP: You are on Probation for the semester, and are on an approved Appeal for the semester.  You have not successfully completed 67% of all your attempted credits and/or you have not earned at least a 2.0 cum GPA (2.5 cum GPA for students in the BS in Education).  Your appeal for completion rate/GPA has been approved, and you have signed an Academic Plan.  You may continue to receive financial aid while on Probation. While on Probation/Academic Plan, you must successfully complete 100% of all courses attempted each semester and earn at least a 2.0 term GPA (2.5 term GPA for students in the BS in Education).  If you are not back in Good standing after your probationary semester, you may be offered a subsequent probationary semester if you have met the terms of the Academic Plan.  You have also exceeded 150% of your program length, and been approved for a specific number of additional credits and courses for your degree or certificate program (as documented in the email approving your appeal), and you have signed your Academic Plan.  While on Appeal, you must successfully complete 100% of all courses attempted each semester and earn at least a 2.0 term GPA (2.5 term GPA for students in the BS in Education).

  • WARN:  You are on Warning for the semester.  You had been in Good standing, and now you have not successfully completed at least 67% of all attempted credits (including all Daytona State attempted credits and all attempted transfer credits); and/or you have not earned at least a 2.0 cum GPA (2.5 cum GPA for students in the BS in Education.  You are eligible to receiving financial aid while on Warning.  If you do not meet all of the financial aid standards of satisfactory academic progress as of the end of your Warning semester, you will be ineligible to receive financial aid (your financial aid will be suspended).

  • WAEH:  You are on Warning for the semester, and are on an approved Appeal for the semester. You have not successfully completed 67% of all your attempted credits and/or you have not earned at least a 2.0 cum GPA (2.5 cum GPA for students in the BS in Education).  You may continue to receive financial aid while on Warning. While on appeal for exceeding 150% of the program length, you been approved for a specific number of additional credits and courses for your degree or certificate program (as documented in the email approving your appeal), and you have signed your Academic Plan.  While on appeal, you must successfully complete 100% of all courses attempted each semester and earn at least a 2.0 term GPA (2.5 term GPA for students in the BS in Education).  If, at the end of your Warning semester, your overall completion rate is not at least 67% and/or your cum GPA is not at least a 2.0 (2.5 cum GPA for students in the BS in Education), you will be ineligible to receive financial aid (your financial aid will be suspended).

  • SUSP: You are no longer eligible (suspended) for financial aid. You are not meeting the financial aid standards of satisfactory academic progress which include the following: You have not successfully completed at least 67% of all attempted credits (including all Daytona State attempted credits and all attempted transfer credits); and/or you have not earned at least a 2.0 cum GPA (2.5 cum GPA for students in the BS in Education); and/or you have exceeded 150% of your program length (including all Daytona State College attempted credits and all accepted transfer credits).

  • SFIN: You have not met the terms of your Academic Plan and are no longer eligible (suspended) for financial aid.  You were on appeal for exceeding 150% of the program length and/or were on probation for not successfully completing 67% of all attempted credits and/or not earning at least a 2.0 cum GPA (2.5 cum GPA for students in the BS in Education).  You failed to successfully complete 100% of all attempted credits; and/or failed to earn at least a 2.0 term GPA (2.5 term GPA for students in the BS in Education); and/or changed your major.  You are not eligible for financial aid until you return to Good standing.

  • PEND (or a null value):  Your status has not yet been reviewed and/or determined.
