Trio Educational Talent Search

Daytona State College, in partnership with the School District of Volusia County, serves 500 middle and high school students each year in target schools through the U.S. Department of Education Talent Search program. The five-year grant began September 1, 2016. Educational Talent Search provides academic, career, and financial counseling to its participants. Educational Talent Search also encourages students to graduate from high school, and complete post-secondary education.

  • Advice and assistance in course selection
  • Workshops for parents/students in completing college admissions and the financial aid process
