The Teaching & Learning Retreat gives faculty the opportunity create and revise classroom practices and assignments based on John Bean's text, Engaging Ideas. Participants may have previously participated in the Online Program discussing Bean's text, but it is not a prerequisite to attending this collaborative workshop setting. Any faculty member interested in revising a course or assignment is welcome to attend. This workshop takes place during Summer Session A. Participants will meet five days for three hours a day at a location on the Daytona campus. Participants who have already completed the Retreat are encouraged to participate for a second year to continue development of their work and help peers develop ideas.
