The 2014 WAC/WID Professional Development Program was a resounding success!
A total of fifteen faculty members—selected from seven different disciplines across campus—attended an orientation session, read and discussed John Bean’s book, Engaging Ideas, and participated in the WAC/WID Summer Workshop Series from May 12, 2014 through May 16, 2014 in order to redesign a course in their discipline within a framework of best practices in writing studies theory and pedagogy.
The 2015 WAC/WID application period will be opening in late fall of 2014. Check back for more information!
