WAC/WID Professional Development Program

The DSC-UCF Writing Center is pleased to announce its 2013 WAC/WID Professional Development Program in support of innovation and instructional improvement in higher education. Approximately 15 awards of $1,200 each will be competitively awarded to faculty who propose to revise an existing course to reflect a WAC/WID pedagogy.

2013 faculty grantees will attend an orientation session, read and discuss John Bean’s book, Engaging Ideas, and participate in a WAC/WID Summer Workshop Series from May 13th through May 17th from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
