The WAC/WID Professional Development Program at Daytona State College supports faculty who propose to revise an existing course to reflect research-based strategies in teaching, learning, writing, and critical thinking.
Faculty apply to WAC/WID each fall and are competitively selected to participate in the program, which begins in the spring and culminates in face-to-face workshops in May. John Bean’s book, Engaging Ideas, provides the foundation for the WAC/WID curriculum.
The 2016 WAC/WID application is coming soon!
