The Career Employee Association of Daytona State College hosted their Fourth Annual Chili Cook-off on Thursday, February 24, 2011. The cook-off began at 11:00 am and ran thru 1:30pm in Building 110, Room 112.
Contestants submitted their own recipe in a crock pot and brought it along on the day the event was hosted. This year the contest was open to all Daytona State faculty and employees - who also served as the judges. $1 allowed participants to try a taste of each chili.Then votes were casted for the best tasting chili. An additional dollar bought participants a bowl of their favorite. Through these and the sales of desserts we were able to raise money to help fund future events.
