College Catalog - Computing Commons
The Daytona State College's Computer Commons provides students, faculty, staff and other members of the college community access to the latest in computer technology.

The Computer Commons features more than 100 PCs utilizing Microsoft's Windows XP platform, seven Macintosh workstations, printers, color scanners and the Microsoft Office Professional Suite of applications. Most software titles used in the classroom also are available in the Computer Commons.

The Computer Commons also provides three computer classrooms equipped with audiovisual technologies. These classrooms are available to faculty members for reservations, and are designated for instructional purposes. The Computer Commons is fully operational seven days a week during the following hours: Monday thru Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 9 p.m.

The Computer Commons Lab Coordinator and Tech Assistants are available to users during hours of operation in order to facilitate access to the Commons area and to answer any questions related to our educational resources.
