Summer Showcases
The 2013 Falcon baseball team will mark the twelfth season with Tim Touma as Head Baseball Coach. In the eleven years with Tim Touma at the helm, Falcon baseball has won four conference championships and five baseball National Academic Awards with the highest team G.P.A. in the Nation. The 2012 Falcons lead the nation with a 3.74 team G.P.A.
Pitching coach/recruiting coordinator Chris Reilly returns to the staff along with Devo head coach Nick Luppino. The new addition to the staff is Matt Wright, a former Falcon All-Star. Coach Wright will be in charge of the outfielders along with assisting with the Devo program.
The Falcons will start the fall season with two returning pitchers and just three returning starters on the Diamond.
Freshman All – Conference infielder Ty Kelly, lead all Falcon hitters in batting average in 2012. Starting SS Stewart Knight returns to make the middle infield a strength for the diamond birds.
On the mound, starter Cody Mizelle returns with fireman of the year for the Mid-Florida Conference John Sebelle anchoring the bullpen for the Falcon hurlers.
The goals for the 2013 squad will be to win another National Academic Award and make a return trip to the state tournament!
