Visiting Team Information

The Daytona State College Athletics department provides visiting athletes/teams with a variety of athletic training services, supplies and equipment.

Services provided:
- Emergency injury assesssment and management
- Taping*
- Wound care management
- Stretching

* Visiting athletes/teams MUST provide taping supplies

Modalities provided:
- Cryotherapy (ice bags, ice cups, cold whirlpool)
- Heat therapy (heat packs, hot whirlpool)
Modalities that can only be used if written instructions (detailed parameters) are provided and signed by the athlete's Certified Athletic Trainer or Physician (no exceptions):
- Ultrasound
- Electrical Stimulation
(Russian, IFC, Premodulated, Biphasic, Microcurrent)
- Massage

Supplies and equipment provided:
- Wound care supplies
- Taping supplies (skin adhesive, heel/lace pads, pre-wrap)
- Massage lotion
- Emergency splints
- Rehabilitation/exercise equipment
- Hydration stations (water, cups)
- Ice
