Course Title: Geometrical and Physical Optics

Course Description:
This course is intended to increase a student's knowledge of physics via further development of geometrical optics, and then by the introduction of new topics. These new topics will include aberration theory, optical instrumentation, wave optics, interference of light, interferometry, optical coherence, the interaction of light and matter, holography, and nonlinear optics. This course will help satisfy the graduation requirements of the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. SP

Pre-Reqs: MAC2312 AND MAC2312L AND PHY2049L AND PHY2049
