Course Title: Transition into Professional Nursing

Course Description:
The transition course introduces concepts that facilitate educational progression to professional nursing without repetition. Concepts introduced in this course build on the practical nursing curriculum. The concepts are roles, health and wellness, nursing process, cultural and spiritual, family dynamics and injury. Upon completion of the course students will be able to apply these concepts to client care within the framework of the nursing process. Clinical experiences will be provided with clients across the lifespan in simple care environments. FA, SP
