Course Title: Patient Care Assistant Lab

Course Description:
Prepares individuals to perform selected tasks related to patient care in a hospital, long-term care facility, or home health agency under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to take the Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program (NACEP) for certification as a Nursing Assistant in Florida (Florida Statute, Section 400.21).
