Welcome to the School of Music, Entertainment and Art

Please allow me to welcome you to Daytona State College and the School of Music Entertainment and Art. While you're here, I hope that you may either begin or continue your artistic interests by participating in one of our outstanding arts programs. Whether it be playing and instrument, singing, dancing, acting or painting a picture, there is a place for you to share your talents. We provide performance opportunities in band, orchestra, choir, dance, pop ensemble and theater plus studio arts programs in painting, drawing, and ceramics.

We are extremely exited about our new course offerings and degree programs in Recording Technology and Entertainment Industry Studies that will open in January 2009. Our new state-of-the-art recording studio facility will be at the hub of the program while being housed in the beautiful News Journal Center Facility.

As an added incentive, we have scholarships available that may cover some of the costs associated with your tuition. You may recieve these awards for participating in any number of our programs including, band, choir, theater, or dance and you do not need to be a major to be eligible.
