Current Projects:
What I'm Working On:
Dr. Flota's current research projects in include: the current global financial crisis; the rise and fall of financial liberalization in Sweden and South Korea; the global movement of neoliberalism as a political and economic project.  He is currently writing a new edition (with John E. Farley) of the textbook Sociology  and is in the planning stages of another textbook on Economic Sociology.  
 
Dr. Flota is the Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Writing and Research, and serves as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Florida Studies.
